| La Grange is a true railroad town. Railroad tracks run right down the middle of Main Street, and trains pass through town several times a day. |

| Lots of historic buildings are now home to great local businesses. |

| Several historic homes are also part of downtown La Grange. |
 |
| My great grandparents, Georgia Gill and Dr. G. O. Lee, called La Grange home from about 1890-1950. Their home, part of which was my grandfather's dental office, was on Main Street. The house is still there as is this sidewalk marker for the old dental office. |
