Miguel's Pizza and Rock Climbing Shop

Miguel's Pizza and Rock Climbing Shop, Slade, Powell County

Miguel's is celebrating it's 30th anniversary this year!

Located in the middle of the Red River Gorge area, Miguel's is popular not only for it's good food but
also for it's t-shirts and rock climbing gear.

Kentucky's own Ale-8 seems to be the most popular beverage here.

Outside the restaurant/shop are picnic tables where people can eat as well as information about rock climbing
in the area.  Behind Miguel's climbers can rent camping space.

Many Kentuckians visit Miguel's and the gorge. . .

. . .and so do people from all over the country.
