| The old school has been repurposed as 24 apartments for seniors ages 55+. The hallways, over-sized windows, and exterior facade have been preserved in keeping with the original character of the building. |

| The building operated as a school until 1994 and reopened as the apartment complex in 1998. |

| The original cafeteria of Midway School is now home to the Midway School Bakery. The bakery is part of the Windy Corner/ Wallace Station/Holly Hill Inn group of restaurants and supplies baked goods to those eateries. |
