Located behind The Jailer's Inn, this cemetery was in operation from 1789 (or before) until the 1850s.

The cemetery grounds are well-maintained.

The cemetery contains several enclosed or walled plots, and those are mostly overgrown with weeds.

Notice what looks like a hand drawn bird on this stone.

Rooster Run

Legend says that Rooster Run General Store got its name from the men who used to gather there and drink.  When their wives, "the hens," came looking for their husbands, "the roosters" would run.  Rooster Run hats are probably the store's biggest sellers and have been sported by such celebrities as Jack Kerouac and Joe B. Hall.

Some of the things the inmates made while in jail.  The Barbasol can was used to make a key, while the electric cord and ink pen were used to make tattoos.

One of the options for guests to the inn is a stay in one of the jail cells which has been upgraded for lodgers' comfort.  There's a private bathroom behind a partition in one corner, heating and air conditioning, a futon, and bunk beds.  The lower bunk is even a waterbed.
