B & N Food Market

We had a great lunch during our visit to Bagdad!  The folks at B& N Food Market were friendly and welcoming, and they serve up some delicious food.  We'll definitely be back!

Triple J Farm Market

Fresh fruits and vegetables.  Homemade soups and baked goods.  Farm fresh beef.  Local honey.  AND the most delicious sourdough bread and apple cider donuts I've ever had!  Triple J Farm Market has captured my heart and my taste buds.  Find out more about the farm, the market, and their CSA program here or, better yet, take a ride through the Scott County countryside and visit in person.

Greyhound Tavern

Greyhound Tavern, Fort Mitchell, Kenton County

Established in 1921, Greyhound Tavern was originally an ice cream parlor called the Dixie Tea Room.  It was located at the end of the streetcar line that ran to and from Cincinnati.

Lots of good food served here!  Fried chicken is one of their specialties, and they are said to have a great Sunday brunch.

Visit the Greyhound Tavern website  for more photos and information, including the full menu.

Windy Corner Market

Windy Corner Market, Lexington, Fayette County

Located at the corner of Bryan Station Road and Muir Station Road

They grow their own fresh herbs and some vegetables just outside the back door.

Inside, the walls are decorated with jockey silks of area horse farms.

Love these hardwood floors!

Order from the regular menu, or. . .

. . .try one of the nightly specials.

The shrimp basket is one of my favorites--yum!

Ragin' Cajun Burger

The Kentucky Combination

Live music every Friday night

Grab a table by a window and enjoy the view.
