Tyrone S-Bridge and Young's High Bridge, Over the Kentucky River at the Anderson County/Woodford County Line

Built in 1932, the  Tyrone S-Bridge is also known as the Jo Blackburn Bridge.  Joseph Clay Styles Blackburn (1838-1918)
was born near Spring Station in Woodford County and graduated from Centre College.  He was a Confederate soldier, a Congressman, and a U.S. Senator.  This bridge is one of only two S-bridges in the world.

Young's High Bridge was formerly part of the Louisville Southern Railway.  Built in 1889, the bridge was closed
