Reinventing Midway School

The Old Midway School c. 1924, Midway, Woodford County

The old school has been repurposed as 24 apartments for seniors ages 55+.  The hallways, over-sized windows, and
exterior facade have been preserved in keeping with the original character of the building.

The building operated as a school until 1994 and reopened as the apartment complex in 1998.

The original cafeteria of Midway School is now home to the Midway School Bakery.  The bakery is part of the
Windy Corner/ Wallace Station/Holly Hill Inn group of restaurants and supplies baked goods to
those eateries.
