The Jailer's Inn, Part 2

Inside the old jail, The Jailer's Inn, Bardstown, Nelson County

Inmate poetry on the wall of the old jail

Some of the things the inmates made while in jail.  The Barbasol can was used to make a key, while the electric cord and ink pen were used to make tattoos.

One of the options for guests to the inn is a stay in one of the jail cells which has been upgraded for lodgers' comfort.  There's a private bathroom behind a partition in one corner, heating and air conditioning, a futon, and bunk beds.  The lower bunk is even a waterbed.
